The Register [theregister.co.uk], G is going to roll out a linux based OS to replace Windows inhouse. This rumor based on a report from the Financial Times on January 20th, although I couldn't find that article.
The name of the OS is known in-house as Goobuntu (a derivative of the open source distribution known as Ubuntu.
