Google Analytics for secure https: pages

problem with popup security window

I would like to use google analytics to track the customer exit rates on each of my checkout pages, however they are secure.

If I use the google javascript code with http, I get the dreaded (some items on this page are non-secure) popup window.

If I modify the google javascript code to use https, I get the certificate problem popup window.

I don't see anyway to fix this for google analytics on https pages, unless anybody has any tricks.
