How do I delete my previous search terms?

In the search terms box...

Hi All

How do you remove the previous search terms that you have entered in the Google Toolbar?

If you use the drop down menu you can view the last phrases searched for, I would like to erase some of these as they are personal.

Help me solve this embarrassing situation.

You will have to enter "regedit" under windows (The Registery) and go to Google Toolbar under software.
If you haven't edited the registry before, be sure to take a backup.

No need to go into the registry unless you are requiring some sort of cleanup that would make M15 struggle. Just pull down the button and there is an option to clear search history.

Next dont searhc for "donkeys in suspenders" while at work :)

I seemed to have resolved the situation but not after frantically removing the Toolbar completely before installing it again.

ukgimp version is probably easier ;)

Left click on the Google logo, on the left side of the toolbar, then select "Toolbar Options". On the options page, uncheck the box for "Keep a search history in a drop-down list under the search box".

This will keep the previous search terms from being listed.
