Hi,

When I use the Google Toolbar,we have no backward links, yet I know we do, most of the sites we have links from have PR5 or 6.

What is the problem?

Thanks In Advance.

johnnydee,

Welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]!

How long has your site been on-line?
How long have your pages been listed by Google?

You should try typing in link:www.yoursite.com at Google.com (not the toolbar), and see if links appear there, if they don't there is nothing wrong with the toolbar, if they appear, there is something wrong with the toolbar, might be a temporaraly glitch.

Its been online for just over 2 months.

I also tried
link:www.yoursite.com
link:http://www.yoursite.com

and the folder where the actual home page is

link:http://www.yoursite.com/folder1/

One thing I did notice was that all our PR was going to this page [yoursite.com...] and not [yoursite.com...]

There is a default.asp page in my root directory BTW which directs the visitor to a subfolder.

If you redirect all users that gets to www.domain.com to www.domain.com/folder/ google sometimes transfers the PR to www.domain.com/folder/

I wouldn't be worry that much about Google not showings the incomming links to your site, as long as they are there, and care accounted for, you don't really have to care, if you want to see all inbound links i would suggest using www.alltheweb.com

and the commando link: or link.all:www.domain.com
