It is such a pain that they haven't made the toolbar for mozilla/linux. I hope they will one day.

There is already a googlebar, but it doesn't support the pagerank because of the proprietary checksum calculation.

they say they are a linux company. that would be the opertunity to prove it.

The info this could gather would be great also. The toolbar database would be able to give details about the windows vs linux percentage in a way that has not been possible up till now.

I think they look at their UA stats, and as long as it is 98% MSIE, they aren't going to do it. Maybe if Mozilla becomes 10%, but then they might just make it for Mozilla/win.

even if it is 89% MSIE in terms of global web users 2% is still a huge number of potential toolbar users.
