Sitemap and actual indexing.

Why sitemap seems to be not working properly?

I have my site submitted to Google by sitemap, so theoretically each and every page is supposedly indexed, but if I type: site:adsoftheworld.com [google.com] only 3 pages come up as a result, instead of hundreds. Am I missing something?

Yes,

You're missing that not necessarily spiders crawl all the link of a web site at once, particularly if is a new, fresh submitted one.
Generally more crawlings are needed before to have all your pages indexed.
Assuming that your sitemap page is composed of textual links...

Sorry, by sitemap I meant Google sitemaps:
[google.com...]
It theoretically submits every page on my site. That's the whole purpose of Google sitemaps I guess.

Thanks!

Than sit down and wait...
Retry in a couple of month.
