As we all know, Google Plus for consumers is shutting down in April [webmasterworld.com], and users are reminded to backup their data because when it reaches April 2, 2019, Google starts to delete the content.

Query (fun stuff), do you think g will REALLY delete all that info, or just make it inaccessible and mine it for all it is worth?

It's a security threat, and that's why it's being shut down.

I think they will remove it and probably redeploy the resources.
