I have seen Google+ post is gaining more worth in SERPs. I have published the article and shared on Google+ than the very next day i check the SERP the Google+ post is showing on the top of the Google ranking.

Of course if you're searching for a unique phrase specific to the G+ post, you'll likely see high ranking.

Let us know if the post STILL shows up after logging out, clear cookies and cache, closing browser and try again. Even better use a different browser and see what that produces.
g+ is, after all, a g property and those have been getting solid placements in the serps.
