Because of the slowed sales it has gotten me to submit my feed to froogle, but my site isnt showing up at the top, what did it take to get your site up there? Do they not allow #1 position for serps and #1 for froogle or do they, and how to better opt. for froogle?
Froogle Primer [webmasterworld.com]
1 - Study the Froogle guidlines..
2 - Analyse the competition and palcement already in the Froogle dir..
3 - Write very effective copy for your listings..
And lastly, withought saying too much, monitor placement of your ads with every change you make. Figure out the little details (and they are little) that Froogle uses to determine where you rank (not counting sort by price etc).
Once you attain a top listing, you need to realize that the IMAGE, they allow you to post can make or break your CTR. This is vital.

Not on all the keywords, but on several I have looked at, the number of times the keyword appeared in that line of the feed seemed to lift the results.
I just think it seems silly b/c would G actually be basing it on something that simple?
Regarding the original question of this thread, I didn't see any big effects. If there's one it's less than 5% impact and that doesn't appear in my stats because of the normal fluctuations.
But I could definetly see that Froogle is making about 3% of all SE-Traffic.
I only get about 50% from google and the other 50% from all the other search engines and links from other websites. I get very good placement on google's listings along with all the other search engines. I wonder why my referrals from google is only 50%? Any ideas?
