How Can I Get In Froogle?

They Turned Down My Request For A Feed

Google recently turned down our request to provide then with a datafeed....

Is there anyway we can do an "end-run" around this and get our products picked up and included anyway?

Is there a special format Frooglebot looks for (assuming that there is a "frooglebot")?

I think I read somewhere that the product information can also some in from adwords... would there be away to use adwords to sneak in?

I'm not trying to be deceptive, but I was just wondering... I don't want to be shut out from this, as I'm afraid it's going to be a significant factor in the months to come.

Any advice would be appreciated.

What reason did they give you for being turned down?

Well... this gets a little complicated.

We provide "online retail sites" for members of a MLM company.

We have our own listing of product information pages but right now there's now checkout process (cuz our list is just "informational"). The idea is you learn about the products, then use our zip code locate function to find a member near you and purchase from them.

I emailed them back and explained this to them... waiting for a response.

I told them we'd add a 'add to cart' function on our product pages, and then seamlessly direct the order to the distributor nearest them.

Hopefully, they'll permit this. I'm just trying to figure out what our other options are.

I think if the products are going to a shopping cart and the prices are in $ US, then you should get in if you chat nicely with the froogle team.

My site did not meet the terms fully, currency wise but a simple polite reply explaining this and that, i noticed in my server logs that they came back had a quick look at a couple of products, added them to the Cart (which was the Problem for the first refusal) and did a checkout and the next day i got the acceptance email.

So keep at it, and good luck.

Just saw that 'Froogle - Super Affiliate' thread.

I got refused entry into Froogle on a basic application due to them not accepting services, even though we do sell a product via a shopping cart as well.

Anyway, do you know anymore about actually contacting them to sign up to an affiliate program?
