Google Shopping - I've been on this platform since the Froogle days.
I upload a fresh product feed of 75K items twice a week. I always get dinged with "Violation of Shopping ads policy" on approximately 300 products, no matter what I do.
These are products that are readily available on Google Shopping by my competitors. The algorithm is turning off these items in my account.
Some of the violations are:
Forbidden pharmaceuticals or products making misleading claims
Dangerous products (Recreational drugs and drug-related equipment)
Offensive or inappropriate content (Capitalizing on sensitive events)
Note that ALL of these products are all perfectly legal, and all appear in other's shopping feeds.
I've been going back and forth with support about this regularly. I've been instructed to make global mods to my feed, change item numbers, etc, and of course request manual reviews.
Requesting manual review: the page of 300+ violations only shows about 50 products. So I can't request review of them all. But it doesn't really matter, no review ever happens, and the products are never released to Google Shopping.
I'm at the end of my rope. I'm losing sales because of my products not appearing.
Considering a Class Action, however I would not know where to start with that.
Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
