I run a google shopping campaign on my low traffic e-commerce site. I'm trying to track clicks/conversions in Google Ads.

While customers can find us with Google Shopping, most of our sales come from inbound phone calls or email. We do get the occasional online order, but not often.

Something is wonky for sure. For example, yesterday G Ads reports 133 clicks, 159 conversions, but no revenue. In real life, we didn't receive any online orders.

Our last online order was on 8/8, but it didn't come from an ad, it was a repeat customer.

Our most recent NEW customer online order occurred on 7/29. If I change the dates in G Ads to show only that date, the results are 0 clicks, 0 conversions. This also could have come from Bing Shopping, but no conversions are shown on Bing either.

In G Analytics, conversions and sales are shown accurately. However I can't tell if the sales come from G Ads, Bing Ads, organic, or customers directly typing in my URL.

I know it might sound a bid daft, but, why don't you ask the callers where they saw your ad?
It could, of course, be organic, too.

We do ask, but usually the answer is "I found this on the internet". There's no way to get that info into Analytics or G Ads.

I just need to know how to accurately record conversions when sales are made online as a result of ad clicks.

Conversion Tracking can go wrong in so many different ways. :-)

Start by segmenting by Conversion Action, "see" what Conversion are being reported.
In Google Ads, upper right, Segment, Conversions, Conversion Action.
