Product title with "-" and some Brand question?

Is there any difference when I write title of product like "name - brand" or just "name brand"?
If I add to my xml "brand" information in "brand " column, wil it change anything?

We've found that Titles have a large impact, descriptions hardly any.
Test your title question above (if it's a commodity, what others are doing can have a large impact as well).

I'd ditch the hyphen as a separator, while it only ads 2 chars, real estate in GShop panel is very, very tight.
I'd do "brand modelnum name attrib(likecolororyear) querywords"

Then I'd test a few lengths here, by trimming down from the right.
