Merchant center showing problems that don't exist

About every other day I check in at the Merchant Center to make sure my feeds are okay, and almost every time there's a problem. It says that titles are too long, or image links don't work, or some other problem that is going to result in my account being suspended. (The weirdest one is for trademark violations. I've removed every word that could conceivably be trademarked except for the brand and model name I'm selling).

I've gone over all of these files very closely, and there are no such problems. Usually when a URL is given for one of the problem files, it's a long-deleted URL that isn't even in the feed file any longer. Some were deleted last year. Yet they keep coming back.

Is anyone else having this problem? I'm assuming that it's very possible for my account to be suspended even though the problem lies with the Merchant Center.

Yes sir, these problems are everywhere. One we've been seeing is that Google is flagging online retailers images and product pages for not letting Google crawl them. But errors that have been fixed but still show up in the Merchant Center don't follow any particular pattern and run the gamut.

It looks like Google recently started separating Critical Errors from Suggested Fixes and it's cause their system to not refresh and confirm that problems have been fixed when a feed is uploaded.

If you have any problems that are under the critical error section that you are sure are fixed, I'd drop a message into Google's inbox:

And explain your situation. At least then you'll have something to point to if they do suspend your account.

It does look like minor critical errors are not causing account suspensions. But it's always better to err on the safe side.

Thanks for the reply, CPC_Andrew. I've contacted them a couple of times, but no reply. I may just have to upload files every day and see what happens.

What's odd is that it's just one or two of the five files I regularly upload that are getting the error messages. I've looked through them thoroughly, and I can't find any glitches.

We've fixed errors and not seen them removed from the Merchant Center as well. It might take a week or more for the error to clear.

You can do a site:yourwebsite.com search on google.com/products to make sure all of your products are live.
