How to become a Brand on Google Shopping

I had a question about Google Merchant Center and Google Shopping.

Currently I have 20 of my clients products uploaded on their Google Merchant center account. The products collect limited impressions and clicks, so I understand they are working correctly. But I need more.

My client wants his product to be included as one of the brands for yoga products.

One example would be "yoga towels" [google.com...]

On the left and bottom there are brands that have been selected by Google.

I want to know if anyone has tips about how to get a product located in the shopping by brands selection.

Right now for some of my clients products we come up in "by store" not "by brand"

I do also have the company name in the brand field when I upload my data feed.

Any thoughts?

Brands will be sorted by brands. I'm not seeing any in the link you posted, but if you're inputting your company name where the actual brand should be, that could be your problem.

Input the actual brand that Google Product Search is listing for the products that are that brand.

One thing to note is that because Google Product Search is a free program, there's only so much you can do to optimize your data quality.

At the end of the day, Google will favor big brands that consumers have trusted for years and push smaller companies to the bottom.
