Actually, not exactly fine, because hedwig has been giving the same types of errors off and on for the past three or four months. I have contacted Google numerous times, and each time, they say they have corrected the issue. When hedwig is behaving badly, nobody's feed gets uploaded.
I wonder if they are neglecting upgrading hedwig in favor of Google Base's FTP server, uploads.google.com.
I can't complain too much, since the whole thing is free, and you get what you pay for. I'm wondering how many others upload their feed via FTP (instead of through the merchant center), and who else is seeing the same problems.
One advantage of publishing via Google Base is Froogle Local. If you have a storefront, simply add your address to your Froogle feed, and your location will appear on a map for local Froogle users.
Is froogle ever going to leave beta status I wonder?
i think this is just proof of froogle's BETA status, and proof that unless you are ebay your probs gunna get a crap service from froogle support, even if some are on a sales course!
