Images in Froogle

various issues with product images for large froogle feeds

Hello all-

We have been using Froogle for several months now for about 7000 products. We recently expanded and now sell over 800,000 products. We uploaded these products in three new feeds, videos, books, and music. However, we are seeing broken links for the images for many of these products. Normally, if an image isn't available or has not been crawled, shouldn't froogle display its own "Image Not Available" graphic? I am just curious if this is just the result of Froogle not crawling all the images yet, or could be indicative of a different problem.

Yeah - I am having the same problem. I have about 65 stores with various feeds. Some images are showing, others aren't. I first thought it was because we went to a new image server, but we are using a cache mirror server so we shouldn't have any problems. I can hit refresh and some more images show. I sent the URL to some people I know around the United States to have them look to see if they see broken images as well. Mixed results. With various data centeres updating at different paces - it is no wonder there were mixed results.

I wonder how much longer this will go on!

I had the same problem when I first start listing on Froogle. The only thing that made it better, was time. Eventually Froogle seem to get it right (after a lot of hassling emails from me).
