Doesn't work now for me - nor can I try to log in as a merchant. Not that I ever seem to be able to log in as a merchant . . . but no FTP now.

I am getting a "Forbidden 403 Error" when clicking on the Information for Merchants link on the main page.

Anyone else getting this?

I have had this trouble as well in the past. It usually asks me to enter my username and password again, which I do, and then it says Ive entered incorrect details, I know the details are correct so I just keep clicking OK and after 2 or 3 attempts it will log me in.

Although now I have another problem, I can access the FTP site fine, but now have the exact same problem as CarlC. Error 403 - "You are not authorised to view this page"

Not authorised to view the page, how can I not be authorised to view the page when it is the signup and login page and an hour before this I was able to upload a feed!

From past experience I know that trying to contact Froogle about this (and any other problem) takes to long, and most of the time if I persist the problem sorts itself out. (Although this is probably the result of others compalaining about a similar problem).

Anyone else get the feeling that as Froogle is free, they are not to bothered about sorting issues quickly?

Yeah. Can't really blame them though.

When this happens, I send them an email from the Froogle Merchant Center notifying them that I can't login to the FTP site. Then I'm usually able to access the FTP site within a few hours.

I don't know if it's coincidence or what but somethimes this will be a problem for days. And then when I email them it's cleared up almost immediately.

I can't connect today either.

I've uploaded my first datafeed 5 times now over the weekend, and I still get the "Awaiting first upload" message.

Frustrating! I'm glad it's free!
