Google on Chrome for desktop is rolling out "Journeys" which lets users revisit old browsing sessions grouped by topic. It's rolling out for any desktop OS in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese and Turkish.

When you type a related word into your search bar and click on “Resume your research” or visit the Chrome History Journeys page, you see a list of relevant sites you visited and can quickly pick up where you left off, whether it was earlier today or weeks ago.

If you're concerned about privacy, Google says it allows history control for Journeys.
You can delete individual items or entire clusters of activity — or turn off Journeys completely. As always, you’ll be able to clear your browsing history right from Chrome settings. Finally, Journeys currently only groups history on your device — nothing is saved to your Google account. And based on user feedback and interest, we’ll explore adding the ability to access Journeys in Chrome across multiple devices (just like bookmarks or passwords).

More history recording with potential for abuse and security issues, just what nobody needs.

I do smell a new SEO tool inc from the Google linking of related urls, though.

I just love how they make it sound like recording more of our lives is some kind of a "journey".

Are you thinking what I am thinking?

These journeys make me laugh.

Heh ... there are some "journeys" I have no desire to remember.
