Does the Quality Score apply to the Content Network also or just the Search Network?

From my experience I would say no. I have a number of ads, which perform poorly in the search, obviously due to their low quality, but are shown hundreds times more frequently in the content network.

I agree. It seems I can get thousands of impressions thru the content network with lots of inactive keywords.

Jon12345,

You can continue to see content network traffic for keyword terms that are inactive for search. The quality score that determines where you show, or if you show, on the search network does not impact the use of keyword terms when the system is developing the content theme of your Ad Group.
