Where is my ad?

I haven't seen it anywhere...even though my avg position is set at 1-9.

I've picked my search term, set my default bid, etc...
but nothing! My ad is nowhere to be found!

I wish they'd tell me what the max and min bidders are bidding! Or do they? I dunno?

Can anyone give me any suggestions?

If your bid amount is set lower than the number 9 spot, then your ad will not show up. You may need to increase your bid to see where you are at.

ok. thanx. I will set my position to a higher one. I think I had it set at 1-9 or something like that.

I would actually change this to read: If your bid amount is set lower than the number 9 spot, then your ad will not show up on the first page.

To be even more clear, there may be more than 9 ads on a page (with a typical max of 11: three on top, and eight on the right) - but any number of advertisers may have ads showing on succeeding pages of the Search Results.

I wish they'd tell me what the max and min bidders are bidding! Or do they? I dunno?

Because one's ad postion is not just determined by price - but is also determined by Quality Score - information about competitors Maximum CPC (or Min CPC) is not given - nor would it be particularly useful or actionable.
