I have just signed up for AdWords as my new site is taking a hell of a long time to come through the ranks,

i am just wondering that if i am paying Google money will they not let me come up the rankings so as not to lose their profits?

So, just to be clear, 'No' means:

'No, being an AdWords advertiser does not have any impact on your position within the SERPs. One does not effect the other in any way.'
