I have a large site with over 30 categories of products. I just started using adwords with incredible results. But like all good ecommerce sites, I'm looking to really maximize my results.
I'm looking for an extremely experienced google adwords user that knows all the ins and outs of what works and what doesnt. I have some questions about what content works best, exact matches vs negative and broad, and how I should run my ad campaigns.
of course i'm willing to give monetary reward for this help. let me know! these posts are already helping a lot!
To your questions, AdWords work best when you have everything targeted - ads, copy, & landing pages - to the same set of words.
Conversion rates - well, test two versions of the site - see which work best - run multiple ads at the same time - see which get the best combo of click thru & conversion to sale :)
The advice here is free - there is a commercial exchange forum, if you'd like to post to solicit paid help.
Cheers, & good luck.
Log that into a db. Track, when they make a purchase, based on the 'cookie' to see where they originated.
That's one idea - there are lots of other ways to skin the cat too, including different toll free numbers for different ads, etc. Lots of options. Just be creative, think outside the box (I begin to loathe that expression though...) and read everything written on WebmasterWorld about conversion rates, tracking, marketing, promotion etc - then, go back & read it again :)
I too recently joined adwords. However I must admit as of yet I have very good traffic from it but no sales.
My site is new and I was told by many professionals that its a great site that should do very well in regards to sales.
I was wondering if you can give me some pointers as to what you are doing to get these ROI's on your ads.
I only have one product that I sell but its a very competitive market. Any suggestions? Thanks.
It's easy to get buried in site statistics, collect them all, and then only look for the ones that you need atm or help you get a view of your site's picure.
