Where did you see it? I can't find it in my accounts. Looks like Google is starting to roll out a series of new features they promised in this May.

They added it to Google Analytics also. I added it there, it helps maybe a little, but haven't noticed much difference there.

I had a prompt on my account when I logged in about a week ago. I enabled it and set it for PST to match other reporting.

I still cannot see this tool - has anyone seen this in an MCC as yet?

Here's how to set your new time zone:

Log in to your AdWords account.
Select the My Account tab.
Select the User Preferences link directly beneath the tab.
Click Edit under the Time Zone heading.
Select the time zone country, and then the individual time zone you want, from the pull-down menus.
Click Confirm Time Zone

Here's how to set your new time zone...

Actually, all advertisers will not see this option as of this moment. Rather, it is being gradually rolled out to everyone over the coming weeks.

While WebmasterWorld terms prevent me from being more specific, please be aware that there is an online resource where notices about such things as this are routinely published. Excerpting from April 27:

...Currently, all AdWords accounts are set to Pacific Time. However, in the coming weeks you’ll see a message in your account inviting you to set your account's local time zone. This means your entire account, including all ad serving, reporting, and billing, will be calculated and managed according to the time zone of your choice.

It’s important to note that your account time zone can be set only once, so please choose wisely! Also, if you don't select a different time zone, your account will remain on Pacific Time.

I received a prompt to change mine when I accessed Adwords a few days ago. It guessed that I wanted GMT for UK which was right. I assume that it's working OK in Adwords but it doesn't appear to be reflected in Google Analytics & I don't know why. Has anyone else changed theirs OK?

AWA,

Any timeline when this will be available to all? It will be a competitive disadvantage to those advertisers who are not able to use "ad scheduling" because they haven't yet had "time zone" rolled out.

excellent stuff when it comes to ROI tracking for NON pst based time zones, at the moment it's a headache as the 8 hour difference makes it a bit tedious to get accurate daily results.

I look forward to having it enabled in our account.

Jim2003, although I am not able to comment on the exact timeframe (having learned in the past not to mention a hard date, as there is always the potential for it to change) I can say that 'ad scheduling' will not be released until all advertisers also have access to the option to change their date range.

I look forward to having it enabled in our account.

Always nice to see your name here Shak - I hope all is well. ;)
