Well done Google, your new and improved way of ensuring advertisers clicks and impressions are way down is just brilliant.

Looking forward to raising my bid prices to make Google more money.

If the theory that Google is displaying less ads on terms and content that they feel is not relevant then we shold be seeing a great increase to our CTR and therefore ROI, something I am not seeing...

Something what i see is that the 3-4 top bidders for a keyword (probably in money terms, not in ad-rank terms) are also displayed on the 2nd page of serps.
That means that ads with the lower bidprices who where in the past hanging around the bottom of the 1st page, or on the top right of the 2nd page, are now moved towards the 3rd page, or bottom 2nd.

This makes google a nice sum extra, as i suppose those 3-4 top bidders, clicked on, on the 2nd page do have to pay as much as on the top spots on the 1st page.

Not sure though it is new or old, never took real attention to it.
