Here is the deal, I have a competitor who is quadruple posting . I feel I have provided AdWords with ample evidence that all these sites are affiliated via whois records, corp records and various links that show how the sites are related. (I realize that may not make sense, but in the context of this situation it really does.)
At this point Google is pretty much blowing me off saying their investigation has come up empty but some of what I have given them is a no brainer. Person listed as owner of company > company listed as registrant of domain1, person listed as registrant of domain2. Not too big of a mystery with that one.
Has anyone had a similar problem? If so how did you solve it.
AdWordsAdvisor what's the deal? How can I get this fixed?
Not just clickbank advertisers using multiple domains as it used to be (one merchant domain and many affiliate domains), but advertisers double serving using multiple accounts across whole markets, filling 3 or 4 of the top 10 positions.
I dont know what can be done, I have successfully complained to google in the past and the problem was solved within a few weeks, but it just seems to be happening more and more.
Now the same jerk has moved in on Yahoo/Overture doing the same thing. To top it off he is advertising a 'special' that doesn't even exist so add a little deceptive advertising into the mix.
I was comtemplating fire with fire but I just don't think the math would be favorable. And you know if I stooped Google would probably pop me instead.
At this point I can at least prove what is happening but I noticed they have already taken the Domains By Proxy route to hide one site. It's only a matter of time until all traces are gone. And then Google will have the same thing to say 'We don't "see" a relationship.'
Domains By Proxy domains should be banned from AdWords now because it is obvious where this is headed. This is precisely why Google should be enforcing their own TOS.
I fear this is only going to to get worse before it gets better. I can pretty much kiss this client good bye. Thanks Google, you're the best!
