I created a campaign last Friday morning, I had to ask for an exception because one of the words was considerer has trademark in my banner. However, the trademark is the actual client. Now we are Sunday, the campaign is active but doesn’t generate any clicks. Why it takes so much time to get this running, I told my client that the campaign will be running on the week end, which is obviously not the case.

1. What can I do?
2. Is it always that long to get this running?
3. In the past I had to ask for exemptions for other clients, it was instant. Does the account history have an impact on the process?

Thx!

I've run into the same issue (not to mention the monotony of filing an exception every time saying "it's me!"), but my account is in the process of being "white-listed" for this trademark which I hope will resolve it.

Another annoying 'feature' is the spelling exception. Anyone with a brand name that would fail a spellcheck (i.e. most brands) gets the same treatment.

At least with spelling exceptions you only have to ask once for each campaign, although the system treats the following as different mis-spellings:

TM
TM,
TM:

Very annoying.

Indeed! But 3 days is it a normal waiting time? Maybe I should try in the french interface, so a french rep can handle the exempetion, can it be faster?

Three days seems excessive based on my previous experience.

Is it because its the weekend?

This almost certainly has something to do with it. Reviews are carried out on a very limited basis over the weekend - and it is also safe to assume that Monday is a day with a considerable volume to work through.

Whenever one has a choice, I'd always suggest creating new or edited ads during the middle of the week, rather than on a Friday or over the weekend.
