I've signed up for a few affiliate deals to sell some specific ebooks and software packs, and have generated some 3-400 word/phrase lists inc the "" and [] variations and have started some campaigns.
After a month, I've generated some sales, but have spent about twice as much on the PPC ads. If I could find a way to filter out some of the non-converting clicks, I may be able to run at least a couple of profitable campaigns.
But I can't find any way of identifying which search terms generated the sales. Is this possible? (I appreciate that, even if I can do that, I may not be able to filter the other words without filtering out potential sales, but I'd be happy to run the campaigns for a while just using the proven successful words, if I could identify them).
Rely on the exact match pharses for the keywords rather than broad match phrases of the keywords. Check your keywords competition that you are buying at oveture and other keyword reporting sites to know a fair pattern of where the market is headed and responsd accrodingly.
Doing a little research before just bidding for keywords is probably far greater of an idea then just going for the one that comes in mind.
