I just lost a spot that I've had for the last 2 months.

300K clicks at CTR or %45

I am bidding $100 and I can't get my spot back. It says someone has a higher quality ads than me all of a sudden.

maybe using a different currency: the max cpc is $100, but max for a GBP account is £60: not necessarily a direct conversion. Another currency with an even greater discrepancy might have a bigger advantage?

I have ad the same probelm with another client, what you need to know is that the top spots on google are all about relervance, the equation for the top spot on google is

QS x Actual CPC = Ad Rank

opposed to those in other positions

QS x Max CPC = Ad Rank

and you Actual CPC is calculated,

Actual CPC = Person Below You's Ad rank / Your QS

so what i am trying to say is the only factor in the Ad Rank calculation is your QS to make your account more relevant is the only way to get better rank!
