Adwords Wont let Me use certain keywords

What the heck is going on with them

My site was about fitness.. nothing to do with pharmacy so i am using words related to my industry

yet they would not let me use them.. i had phrases with the word weight loss in .. actually a lot of phrases..

and they said this is phrmacy.. and it highlighted the word weight loss.. it said I had to give them a pharmacy id..

or

Tips for Weight Loss

got to do with pharmacy?

like what the heck is going on?

how do you get around that?

I hate adwords and love overture.. adwords make it so hard

Try requesting an exception and make it clear that you aren't selling any drugs and you should be ok. I have had similar situations come up in the past and have been able to get around them.

Yes, request an exception and tell them you're not a pharmacy. I've had the *exact* same problem with the term "weight loss" recently. I just did the "request an exception," and said, "This does not fall under your pharmacy policy because it is not a pharmacy and so does not have, nor need, a pharmacy ID. Please approve it."

Worked for me. :-)

I am advertising a number of books on weight loss. You just have to request an exception, and these seem routinely approved. It may take a day or two to have the exception approved, but this generally is quicker than reviews at least.

It really does seem crazy though.. I keep telling them I wish they were like overture as overture is simple you send in all your keywords.. they either approve or disapprove if they disapprove you phone them and within hours it can be approved..

i find there accounting easier aswell

and I dont like the whole way they jack up their bidding to get you to pay more..
