Went over my daily budget?

Several of my campaigns are stopped right now, claiming that I have gone over my daily budget. One of them has a budget of $5000 a day, and is currently under 400. Is anyone else having this problem?

This is starting to hurt - my busiest day of the week no less. I've raised my budget to 10,000 and still no ads. OUCH!

That's the standard response when your account goes under review. It may be a few days before your ads are running again.

What causes an account to go under review?

And wouldn't they at least email you to let you know they were pausing your campaign?

Yup sounds like you account is under review.
Nope google wont send an email to alert you. And it WILL take a days for your ads to start running normally again. The worse is that there is no option but to sit tight and do nothing, especially if you have some history on your current account.

What causes this? And what do you mean by history?

Google obviously doesn't say which conditions trigger a review. There have been suggestions that once you reach a certain number of impressions or clicks, or the campaign reaches a certain age, or that multiple violations of AdWords rules will all trigger a review.

For the life of me, though, I can't figure out why they just don't tell you that your account is under review.

That's easy. They don't warn you so you don't go "clean it up".

Given the number of ads that slip through the filters despite being against TOS, I imagine this "pop manual inspection" is their best opportunity to tune the filters.

Although, I really don't see why they can't jfigure out a way to let the account run at full speed during the review.

Well my accounts started up again today like nothing happened. When I asked an ad rep about it, she said that it could have been a server pause. A server pause? For over half of a day?

Well - I'm glad I didn't have the nightmare scenario as bad as some on here have had. But I did loose several thousand dollars yesterday. I'm still not doing well enough to let that kind of money roll off.
