1. u might of seen the sites that make ur own google logo. Well would i be able to use that logo on my own search engine? the search engine is just small and searches like 20 sites. but would that still be against google law or w.e? thanks.

2. Say i wanna increase how much money i get for a click. could i make like a sub part to my site like /nameofsub and have a bunch of text about i good paying keyword? would that be not allowed or would it be allowed? thanks.

Are you thinking of putting Google's trademark on your own search engine?

theres a site where it makes a logo for the text u type. say i type jordan it would make a logo thats simular in color to googles.

just wondering if thats illegal or something to use on my own site.

If you are 'passing off' as Google or implying association, Google may take issue.

Equally, a multi coloured name in lower case could be okay as long as it's not Google's own typeface.

Why copy Google?

Google has trademarked their logo with the color scheme. Although it is specifically the word "Google", I suspect you'd still be on shaky ground, because Google is so well known, and that's one of the factors they consider.

What would make it a slam-dunk, though, would be when Google presents your post from right here... you referred to it as a "Google logo", so they should be able to easily show that your intent was to create a misrepresentation as to source.

If I were you, I'd just make the time to get your own logo together. Again, IMO, it is quite important for your own identity.

Whilst imitation is the best form of flattery, Google has teeth and could bite!

From: [google.com...]

Using Google's Trademarks

* Do not incorporate Google trademarks or logos into your own product name, service names, trademarks, logos, or company names
* Do not adopt marks or logos that are confusingly similar to Google's marks and logos

I think that about says it all. If I were you, I'd change the logo you've got on your site immediately.
