Just curious about retail sector conversion rates for Friday through Sunday. . .From you experience are people more or less inclined to spend during the weekend. Any input would be appriciated.

Less on weekends. More than usual on Mondays.

I call it the Water Cooler Effect.

Hello,
Same here, less traffic on the weekends. I also get more orders late at night than I thought I would.

Yeah, less traffic but higher conversion rates. Dont get me wrong, we make less on the weekends, roughly 2/3 of what we do on weekdays however the conversion rate is noticebly higher.

Sunday is my best day of the week by far.

It seems to go in cycles for me. Lately Friday has been my big day which is new, usually it was Wednesday or Thursday.

I agree with the others though that there is less traffic on Sat & Sun but higher covnersions. I think people who surf on the weekends are looking to get something done/ordered. During the week you get a lot of bored surfers at work, school, etc. which lowers the conversion numbers.
