I checked again and they were definitely for search and not content.
This was good news and I searched on the terms in Google and sure enough my ads were displaying.
Whether this will happen on my other campaigns only time will tell.
I can confirm that the ads had not been changed since the 8th Dec when many of my keywords were deemed "inactive for search" unless I paid a king's ransom.
I wondered whether anyone else had noticed this?
We are slowly lowering the CPC to try and get it back to the 5¢ it was at before all the changes but every time I lower the CPC I expect to see the inactive notice again. We'll see. The average click is now around 12¢ and I need to get it below 10¢ to keep it.

Just an update.
I was able to get this term to a bid of 10¢. Anything lower than that and the disabled notice pops up.
The actual paid click is 7 to 8¢. Works for me :-)
