How does it work?

I select the recommended budget, but my ad does not appear all the time. I do the recommend budget again, and Google says that it's ok.... How does this work? How do I know what budget to set to make sure my ad is allways displayed?

I usually set it to at least double or triple the recommended budget...

But be careful, sometimes you may actually hit it.
