Competitor ripping of my ad

Is there anything I can do if a competitor has suddenly started using the exact same text in their Adwords Title & Description?

i'm not usre about this one. i have a feeling that they will probably get away with it though to be honest. it's maybe worth emailing your rep and asking them about it.

Be flattered, laugh at the competitor, throw an email at your Adword rep, don't lose any sleep over it.

Keep in mind - you wrote the ad copy for your site - that doesn't mean it will be as effective for his site. It's just like these people who rip off content thinking it will get them the same rankings / success as the site they took it from (not talking about scrappers here). Shallow, niave and shows no understanding of the commerical reality of the business world (or the SEO world for that matter).

Some people are just idiots. There is no way he can possibly know how well your ad copy is coverting - copying it outright is just plain stupid IMO.
