Inside Adwords:

"The story so far: back in October we invited our readers to summarize AdWords success in 25 words or less. We got quite a number of responses and published a few of them later that same month."

I just wondered how many people here at WebmasterWorld have had success with Adwords? Has it made or broken you? How dose it compare with your Overture or other ppc/ppm Marketing?

Now I feel like maybe I should explain a little bit, as I am new to WebmasterWorld and this may seem like a random thing to be asking, I work for an online marketing agency specializing in Google Ad-words I have been for 9 months and I have qualified as a “QGAP”, when talking to clients I only have Google’s stats to go on, I can mention that there is a 90% customer satisfaction rate and that tescos are doing well (as mentioned in Googles Ad-words case studies) but nothing from the people those who deal with Google on a day to day basis and it would be nice to get some of this real stories about how Google is helping/hindering.

So let me know, you can use 25 words you can use a 100 I don’t mind as long as It’s real.

AdWords (Feb. 2002)and also Overture (May 2000) has made our little business a roaring success over the last 5 years.

It has taken us from a casual part time business to a full time roaring success. Actually I now spend so much time answering e-mails that I may cut back over the next few years.

It is definately the answer for smaller businesses to gain SE placement although we have also now gained respectable natural placement.

Hopefully this advertising model will not change too dramatically over the coming years.
