This is ridiculous. Was down what 2 weeks ago too? I actually unpaused my ads like 4 hours ago, but realize they never went live.

Is this really worth a thread of its own?

" Is this really worth a thread of its own? "
Why wouldn't it be worth discussing?

If it was not scheduled maintenance and/or was offline for an hour or two, THEN I think a thread for this would be OK. But 20 minutes of scheduled outage is only raising the noise level here.

Google can handle a little bit of 'bad' press. Any outage during prime business hours is an inconvenience (and unplanned). Sorry if it potentially affects their stock price (as I'm guessing you are a shareholder).

I'm not. I am only concerned with the signal-to-noise ratio here. And this thread (including this meta-discussion) is pure noise to me.

This comment speaks highly of the stability of the Adwords program - but such outages during the middle of the day are extremely rare. I was not sure if this was an isolated issue (which I've experienced before) or a more widespread one. And, there was no way to know if this was the start of a longer outage, or one that would be resolved soon after.
I'm not sure why you object so strongly to my inquiry. What's noise to you may be music to others. But, responding to the thread three times isn't helping matters much, is it, pmk?

Good point Poster Boy. We are a community; there are no stupid questions. If someone doesn't think it's 'worthy' of a thread, they don't have to participate in it.
