I bid on a number keywords for 0.02p and similar.
I have low budgets for these type of keywords.
They get a huge amount of traffic and the daily budgets are used up in a couple hours each day.
They are useful to increase overall traffic to my site.
Today the keywords have been disabled, the minuim bid is £5.50.
I have been using these keyword for over 3 years, they have high ctr's but the conversion rates would not be considered valuable.
I am amazed that google suddenely thinks these keywords are so valuable.
I am bemused by this.

You are right its related to that post.
I didn't check that because the keywords are for my entire site not just for landing pages.
This now explains the drop in adsense revenue for my sites. No ones generic ads were getting displayed on my site in the same way mine weren't getting displayed on theirs.
I use adwords, adsense, landing pages, but I didn't see this coming. :)

I had a helpful conversation today with Adwords Support and believe that things will get corrected.
It is always good to speak to a human being and just say look your technology is great but in this instance the latest filter has generated too many high priced bids.
