I have been combing the threads and have come up with this conclusion; Overture & Word tracker are rubbish. Using Google Adwords at the #1 spot in comparison to the 10,000 searches slated on Overture and Word Tracker that happens for a specific keyword Adwords Traffic Estimator cited ONLY 13 clicks a day.
This is a shocking revelation on how many people really search for that specific key word. I have come to realize that the traffic estimator MUST ASSUME that you will receive only a 1% CTR.
In that event there is clearly a problem with this assumption.
But I have a few questions:
a.)how accurate is the traffic estimator OR
b.)Is Overture and Word Tracker grossly incorrect?
This is a valid question guys can I get some help here…?
Overture's figures can get skewed because they count plurals in with singular keywords and SEOs searching for where their sites on Yahoo! and MSN can inflate their figures.
Wordtracker is probably the source that is least biased as it uses meta searchengines, where people usually don't go to check their ranks. However, as this is only a small sample of the searches done each day it can cause problems.
