I just got an email from someone saying I was "passing off" by bidding on a certain persons name then sending it to a website that had nothing to do with the individual. I was using keyword insertion so the name appeared to be the title and content of the ad. I did as they requested and removed the keyword insertion so the ad still triggers but does not mention the name. My question is, can they now insist that I do not trigger ads for that name? Other advertisers are doing the same thing. However with a name it is not a trademark so as long as my site is not pretending to be from this person what is the problem? They wrote back saying they noticed what I had done but wasn't enough, they don't want any ads triggered for the name.

thanks

Please explain who the "someone" is.

Hi

The "someone" is a tv presenter and business person - in the same sector of the website I am sending traffic to.

Thanks
