I followed the instructions to add analytics to one of my websites. First created a profile and then included the code into my website. Tried to validate the code didnīt work, I double checked I seted up the correct code in the right positio, still nothing. Even moved the code just before </head> but nothing.

I decided to delete the profile and create a new one to try to solve it. After deleting the first profile now I canīt create a new profile! Here are the instructions which are very straight forward. Iīm sure this is a bug.

1. Click Analytics Settings
2. In the Website Profiles box, click Add
3. Select the radio button to Add a profile for a new domain
4. Enter the domain in the text field provided. You may enter a subdomain or domain path if desired. Make sure to specify whether the domain uses http:// or https:// from the drop-down list
5. Click Finish to add the new profile, or Cancel to exit without saving.

Just wait for 24 hours after you verify the script and all will be fine. It happened to me as well.

It's not a bug. Google have disabled the creation of new profiles temporarily:
