Using a URL Redirection system - Is it a problem with Adwords

I just felt that since I am just beginning to test the waters, my investments may go waste if I do not suceed. So I would like to know if the free redirection services like <removed>( So xyz.example.com would redirect the visitor to say my geocities page) are allowed and also do they, in anyway be a problem with my campaigns apart from knowing my referrers.

You can not have a link in adwords that is a redirect.

Redirections are definitely allowed. Just make sure that domain of the final landing page matches with the domain that you are showing on the Ad.

that is incorect, it can be totaly diffrent to display url,

Google Ep's Say that users must be able to get back to the google search with 1 click, or 1 double click, of the [u] Browsers [/u] back button. so if your page has javascript to set back button, then yes redirects are fine.

I am not sure who you said is incorrect. Anyway a simple Meta redirect page similar to below definitely works correctly with the back button.

<meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="4;url=http://www.domain.com/link.html">

I have been using redirects for tracking. So Google does allow redirection.

I dont realize the necessity for a javascript. Because,I just entered my geocities page by typing the free-url-redirection sitename on google. and when i press the back button, i'm directly taken to the google search page.

i mean for those who go via gateways, such as adtrack, most only use "window.goto" this dose not work for google unless you set the back button to forget the gateway page. goolge's ep say

Links to your website must allow users to return to the Google search results page or ad network by clicking once on the browser's Back button.

so i was incorect to say a double click.
