Keyword Disapproval Notices

They never seem to make it to my inbox.

Does anyone get the reason why keywords are disapproved actually e-mailed with an explanation?

I've had 5 keyword disapprovals, all the same word, within the last 2 months. Sometimes simply resubmitting them if not an exact match but in a different order will get reviewed by someone else and be approved.

I was given two different answers from Google via phone. I'll get a message for keyword disabling, an occasional typo, or the style guidelines (which seem different depending on who is doing the reviewing). After reading some messages, some others don't appear to be getting the keyword disabling reason emailed either.

Every time it has been reversed, and why it was disabled in the first place has never been explained. The e-mail process is so slow that I called and was given the response that it the reason had been e-mailed to me, but someone would look into it. An hour later the ad was up and running, but still no explanations.

I was quite impressed when I e-mailed some concerns and Google called me, but with every interaction since then, everything has either been contridicted by someone else via e-mail.

I don't know who to believe anymore, but does anyone else have this problem time after time?

Based on my experiences in corporate life and not on Adwords as I am a newbie, I suspect very strongly that they have employed a lot of very inexperienced, probably young, probably minimaly paid, staff.

Their growth has been phenomenal, and due to their position in the search engine marketplace they can almost do what they like with 'paying businesses' as far as quality is concerned. After all we will go to them almost no matter what.

To balance what I have just said, it should be noted that it is extraordinarily hard to train every individual in a customer service division to:
1, understand the policies thoroughly
2, execute them consistently

I also suspect that the quality will improve over time and rapidly so.

My two bobs (nickels) worth.

I end to agree they may be inexperienced, and more than a few jobs are open [google.com], but the perks [google.com] aren't too shabby.. :)
I could dig the massage therapy..

Me too...and right now :)

The only perk in my time was long Friday lunches but that disappeared rapidly around 1990. Hm...the office girls always looked better on a Friday.

Oops, will I get banned by the 'politically correct' police?
