Does the daily budget and costs for click through show in US currency or local?

you should be able to see a $ or £ or other currency depending where you opened the account i think.

we are in the uk but opened an account before you could have it in (£) sterling so had to use a us ($) account. we still have the us aco#*$!. don't want to loose the historical data.

Jackdack - the answer here is dependent on how you set up your account, at the time that you created it.

As part of the ad creation process, you come to a step entitled Choose a currency, which looks sort of like this:

Pay for this account using [drop down menu with many options]

This determines only how you pay us, not how you handle transactions with your customers.
Note: This setting can't be changed once you activate your account

Whatever currency you choose in this step is the currency that'll be shown in your account for budget, etc.
