Hello,
Okey, iam sitting behind a computer of a friend, and was clicking on 2-3 adword ads, some of them go over the domain of googleadservices.com and, after clicking are fully blocked (white screen). Okey i know from the Past that Norton was blocking stuff, if you have a personal firewall installed (so probably the computer iam working on has that installed), but like to know what type of advertiser is using googleadservices.com, is this randomly done by Google.? Thankfully my own ads were working... but this is somehow costing someone money...)

Thanks
Peter

googleadservices.com is generaly the refering page when a user clicks on an adwords ad, on a Google site.

A partner site will use googlesyndication.com

As for norton, generaly they bock the ad from being displayed, they do not activly block the advertisers site.

Thanks for reply Mack,
The case here, its just a factory pre installed computer.
Some adwords ads go to Doubleclick, and those ads end in an empty white page.
Okey i can understand that the computer is blocking DoubleClick (poor affiliate...he/she is pumping water to the sea)
But some of the ads go through googleadservices.com after clicking also these end up with a white screen.
(3 to 4 of all ads displayed on every commercial SERP i tested)
I just need to know the pure reason why google uses this URL, is it because of some clicktracking or statistic program the advertiser requested..?
Or does Google gives this URL randomly to advertisers for their own testing.?
Moreover i cant find anything in Google Adwords documentation about AD blocking.
The funny thing is a certain SERP with an advertisement for Google Adwords (apparently from Google), is also ending up in nowhere..
Actually it looks like a redirect as with a mouse-right-click the URL of the AD is seemingly google.com/pagead/iclk?
While the ones without problem are from the type:
google.com/url?
Thanks
Peter
