pay only for click through

is it right you only pay for click through and not impressions, (just listing search ads not content ads).

i tried to find answer in help section but surprised to find search not that effective, thanks

When doing keyword marketing on Adwords, you will pay for CLICKS and not IMPRESSIONS.....

If 1,000 people click at $0.05 you will only be charged $50......
