Now I have been told by Google in an email that "At your request our optimisation specialists created this customised optimisation for your client with the expectation that you would try it.
Due to the time commitment involved in optimisations, we have a policy that we cannot offer opts to clients that have not at least tried our suggestions or who have rejected them in the past"
And that in other words, if I dont accept it fully we can never have one again for any clients and that their optimnisation team put in a lot of effort and prioritised my request. Hardly seems fair. Some of the suggestions were not even relevant for the business.
Anyone else had a similar experience?
maybe the best thing to do would be to send them an email outlining why a lot of the work they had done is irrelevant.
Explain in detail why you would not choose those words, you are the one with the product/service expertise, not them, so you know the market place better.
I am sure the guys who do the optimisation do a good job for some people, but it may not suit all.
I think they have the expertise to increase CTR's and lower the max cpc's (doubt it though - not the expertise. but would they try to save you money?) through better ad copy as this is their area of expertise, but if it is keyword research etc, they may not be the best to do it.
But, if they dind't do a good job this time, what makes you thik they'll get it right if you approach them again.
