Difference between phrase and broad match type on a single keyword?

What, if any, is the difference between putting a single word in quotes (phrase match) or without quotes (broad match)?

Phrase match means it'll only show if that keyword is used.
Broad match could show for similar keywords (i.e. expanded broad match).

Ah, that's right. BTW, how can I view broad expanded matches for a particular broad keyword? I thought the keyword tool on the edit keywords page used to do that but I don't see them listed anymore.

The AdWords Sanbox [adwords.google.com] is the best place to start finding expanded broad matches.
