Is it wrong, from an advertiser's point of view, for me to place an article on my blog, saying smart pricing is hurting publisher's commissions, right next to the Adwords ad, where your ad is displayed?

I don't believe so Janet. The advertisers didn't invent Smart Pricing - it just happens to save them some cash.
From an ethical standpoint, I would feel no remorse in doing so. After all Janet, you're a publisher too.
While we tend to disagree sometimes - I really like Janet - she's a class act. Who would have thought?! Ethics in advertising :)
